Weapons

== Skeffington Skirmish Series - When supplying an army with basic weapons, all eyes turn to the Skeffington family of Talonius IV, the creators of the inexpensive, dependable, and widely used Skirmish series.

Skeffington Skirmish AM9 | Pistol | Standard issue pistol
- Made by nearly every manufacturer, owned by nearly everyone, the AM9 is the "MW-14" of pistols. Compatible with most MW-14 modifications, the AM9 is THE pistol of the Galaxy.

Skeffington Skirmish MW-14 | Machine Gun | All purpose automatic machine gun
- The MW-14 is THE most used Terran-made weapon in the galaxy. Dependable, light, modifiable, and inexpensive, nearly everyone in the galaxy has one, but the difference is the modifications in the MW-14, which vary incredibly. It is highly compatible with thousands of mainstream modifications, and countless homemade variations.

Skeffington Skirmish AW-56 | Automatic Weapon | Heavy automatic machine gun
- Standard automatic machine gun, with rapid fire capability and high caliber, with one key component: compatibility with all MW-14 modifcations, which makes it almost as popular as the famous MW-14 itself.

Skeffington Skirmish S-56 | Shotgun | Pump-action shotgun with three barrels
- Exclusively made by the Skeffington family of Talonius IV, the dangerous triple-barrel shotgun packs a punch. Its compatibility with MW-14 modifications makes it the most popular shotgun available.

Skeffington Skirmish OSP-5 | Sniper Rifle | Basic sniper rifle
- Interestingly, the OSP-5's compatibility with the MW-14 modifcations didn't help its sales at all. The Skirmish sniper rifle had a slight profit, but for the most part, other companies like Osiris beat them to the punch.

== Skeffington Precision Series - After the sales of the Skirmish OSP-5 fell flat to the Osiris Hawkeye snipers, a sniper-specific branch of the Skeffington industry was created to craft accurate sniper rifles with a whole new class of modifications.

- With unmatched supremacy in the battlefield, this sniper contains the following enhancements:
-- Scope
-- Laser/Projector
-- Holodisplay

-- Scope
-- Laser/Projector
-- Holodisplay
-- Database Capability
-- Anti-gravity steadying system
-- Auto-snap targeting system

Skeffington Precision OSP-XMW | Sniper Rifle | Interchangeable OSP/MW-14

== Pulsar Series Experimental Weapons - Pulsar Incorporated is based on the privately owned planet, Vista, and creates new experimental weapons, which did not prove very profitable, and are only used merely as novelties among the wealthy.

Pulsar X5B | Five-barrel Pistol | Experimental, uncomfortable design
- A pistol which fits on the knuckles, and has five barrels which shoot at the same time. The awkward position in which you hold the pistol makes it undesirable, and it failed dismally to generate even the slightest profit.

Pulsar Quad 4 | Machine Pistol | Revolver with four barrels, and a magazine
- A unique machine gun/revolver combo with continuous rapidfire. Used by mercenaries and rich gangsters, the Quad 4 is a novelty gun.

Pulsar Guncleaver A12 | A double-barrel machete pistol
- When caught up in close situations, not only does the Guncleaver act as a pistol, but is also able to be converted into a machete

Pulsar Hyperhook 2B | A grapple/hook gun with a hyperkinetic motorized cord
- When you fire this grapple hook at nearly any large obstacle you will be jerked by a hyperkinetic motor, which will flip you into the air. Useful for specialized soldiers. It also can whip around enemies or grab targets.

Pulsar Trebuchet | Projectile device
- A general projectile device which will deploy anything from minirockets to hydramite

Pulsar Goliath | Unbelievably powerful, monstrous weapon with 5 gattling guns
- Five, rotating gattling guns each with ten barrels, with 500 Bullets a second, this weapon must be hooked up to a super-magazine or attached to a vehicle in order to sustain constant fire.

Mission Arcs

Mission Arcs

Prologue [USF Station 1] - After a strange dream, you explore USF headquarters and find the briefing room, where you meet with General Harris for your first mission as a USF agent. (Frost and Angel join your party)

Dead Sahara [Sahara] - For some reason, a Terran colony has lost contact with the USR. Find out why, before you might die as well... (Hornhead and Trigger join your party)

Battle of Skies [Aludra] - Above Aludra, Hemikan armies have begun an assault!

Jungle Fever [Canopus] - Hemis declares war! Fight to gain the border planet of Canopus, until you find out the natives have a secret weapon which they will use do destroy both armies... (Buzzsaw and Aztec join your party)

Battle of Midway [Midway] - On the rogue border planet Midway, fight for control of an essential foothold. Midway is a stormy planet with large sea monsters which will make the battle difficult.

Fallen Crucis [Crucis] - You are trapped within enemy lines, and your only hope is finding your other squadmates and repairing your damaged ship, but first you must explore the deep levels of the city-planet of Crucis. (Gear or Mirage joins party)

The Crypt [Rigel] - To gain the war support of the Orions, you must recover a downed Orion freighter on Rigel, a planet full of zombies. (Doc or Scar joins your party)

Pirates of the Stars [Various Planets] - Returning from Orion Space, members of the Syraka Corporation kidnap you. They agree to let you go if you go on missions for the Syrakan Corporation. (Wolf or Viper joins your party)

Scattered [Dusk Freighter] - Following a brawl on the Syraka flagship, the Dusk Frieghter, your squad is torn apart. You drift in space for days, to be picked up by a Shaidi shrineship and taken with them.

Mist of Tears [Hadar] - The current state of war is too dangerous for interstellar travel, so you decide to train with the Shaidi while you are stuck on Hadar.

Through the Shell [Ahadi or Sunitas] - The Shaidi soon realize you are too one-sided to let the Mist guide you, and send you to the Suntai (Honor) or the Kumani (Prestige). You are given a cloaked ship and travel through Velan/Orionic space. (Blaze or Storm joins party)

Junlaka Expedition [Numassi Space] - The war is in the USR's favor for a small amount of time, so you reunite with the other members of your squad. Now, the USR is struggling to find something which can end the war for good. From the Shaidi templars you learned that in the myth of many tribal races, there is a planet called Junlaka, where an "ancient force" is housed, which contains an incredible power - the ancient Terrai flagship, the Serrinek. You join a joint expedition of these tribal races to find Junlaka, so you can win the war.

Battle of the Thrones: Part 1 [Altair] - Finding the Serrinek, you fly into battle just as Altair is being overtaken by Hemikan hostiles. The battle is won, pushing back the Hemikan forces and driving them from Altairian space.

Battle of the Thrones: Part 2 [Hemis] - The war is not over, as you soon realize the Hemikans will attack again, this time with much more force. The Serrinek, with a whole fleet behind it, flies courageously into battle in the Scorpio sector, and although many lives are lost, Hemis is overtaken by the Allies and the war is won.

Star Reacher Down [Star Reacher] - Now that the Mysterious Barrier ceased to exist because of the Great Awakening, the first colony ship, Star Reacher, has been sent to explore the deep unknown. When a distress call comes in, you and the rest of Darkstar are sent to investigate. To your horror, you have found that the colony ship has been overrun with parasitic life forms.

Point of No Return [Star Reacher Core] Honor - You fulfil your mission, destroying the Xerak Infector, and saving the Orion Sector from Xerak Invasion. You discover the last Artifact, combining them to ascend and become the first Guardian.

Point of No Return [Star Reacher Core] Prestige - You chose a path which leads you to total corruption, becoming the first of the Fallen. You pretend to destroy the Xerak, and return a hero, carrying the Xerak retrovirus back with you...

A Barrier Broken - Now the war with the Xerak has reemerged, the Mysterious Barrier has been broken, and the war to end all wars has just begun. You fly in the Serrinek toward a new dawn... or the darkest era of history.

Systems

Altairian Sector - Capital: Altair

The region inhabited mostly by the kingdoms of Regal Races, and contains three subsectors: Alta Major, Terra Major, and Matarran Space.

:: Altair (Alpha Aquilae) - Altairians
:: Centauri (Alpha Centauri) - Centauri
:: Sol (Alpha Solaris) - Terrans, Naitei, Atlanteans
:: Aludra (Eta Canis Majoris) - Aludrans
:: Avior (Epsilon Carinae) - Aviorans
:: Turais (Iota Carinae) - Torans
:: Canopus (Alpha Carinae) - Ona, Kuna, Zena
:: Sirius (Alpha Canis Majoris) - Canians
:: Taurus (Tau Ceti) - Tauri
:: Matar (Eta Pegasi) - Matarrans

Persei Sector - Capital: Zufa (Enif System)

The sparsely habited sector is the last cluster of inhabited stars for hundreds of light years, and was settled mostly by Zumakans. The Tsubu, a hyper-intelligent race on an isolated planet, live here. The Outlier, a binary with 3 planets, houses the "point of no return" until the Polaris sector, heading into Wild Space.

:: Tsih (Gamma Cassiopeiae) - Zumakans
:: Sadr (Gamma Cygnus) - Tsubu
:: Atik (Omicron Persei) - Zumakans
:: Menkib (Xi Persei) - Zumakans
:: Miram (Eta Persei) - Zumakans
:: Mirfak (Alpha Persei) - Zumakans
:: Outlier (Upsilon Sagittarii) - Universal

Scorpious Sector - Capital: Crucis (Acrux System)

A region scorched by generations war, the Scorpious sector houses the Industrial Crescent, the Antares and Shaula systems, and the most populous planet in the galaxy, Crucis, which houses over 400 Billion people, and is twenty times the size of Earth. It also is home to the secretive Shaidi, and their many shrineworlds inside the Railka Nebula (known as the Coalsack, a derogatory term, by the Terrans.)

:: Antares (Alpha Scorpii) - Hemikans
:: Hadar (Beta Centauri) - Shaidi
:: Acrux (Alpha Crucis) - Crecians
:: Dschubba (Delta Scorpii) - Sesslik
:: Acrab (Beta Scorpii) - Cun'ra
:: Shaula (Lambda Scorpii) - Tuzeke
:: Tolus (Mu Scorpii) - Zerjuk
:: Outlier 2 (Gama Arae) - Universal

Orion Sector - Capital: Orus (Skka System)

The Orion sector is closed off to all outside races, because the Orions believe they are so advanced that if they released their technological and navigational findings to the warring species below them, all that would come from it would be sorrow. Most believe that the Orions have an enormous foothold outside the sector, in "Orionic Space". They have navigated through Wild Space and found many new worlds. The Orion empire is said to be millions of worlds in number.

The Orion Sector is home to many smaller races which the Orions protect. The Seraphs, for instance, are a race which is severely unadvanced technologically, but extremely powerful psychically. For that reason, even the Seraphs have a lot to teach to the Orions. The Takek are a race of peaceful tribal

:: Skka (Betelgeuse or Alpha Orionis) - Orions
:: Saiph (Kappa Orionis) - Orions, Seraphs
:: Rigel (Beta Orionis) - Necroids, Spectrals, Takek, Orions

:: Hatsya (Iota Orionis) - Aikans
:: Alniham (Epsilon Orionis) - Orions, Suntai
:: Numassi Cluster (Pi Orionis) - Numassi

Vela Sector - Capital: Naos (Naosis System)

Known by many as the "Trade Sector", the Vela sector has many systems which are notorius for "colorful" aspects of Galactic Trade. The Syraka Corporation, a maifa-like criminal organization, is based off the smuggling world of Ahadi IV. The largest portion of the planets in this region are inhabited by Hemikans. Most of the other planets in the region are inhabited by Shaidi outcasts, known as the Kumani, who are in constant war with the Shaidi.

:: Ahadi (Pi Puppis) - Kumani
:: Suhail (Gamma Velorum) - Kerza
:: Naos (Zeta Puppis) - Naosian
:: Asmidiske (Xi Puppis) - Azurn
:: Tseen Ke (Phi Velorum) - Tsun Kan
:: Vathorz Prior (Upsilon Carinae) - Vath

Polaris Sector - Capital: Nualtus (Polaris System)

Ending the First War, the Altairians and Centauri left Known Space through a portal on Altair. The portal led to the Polaris sector, thousands of lightyears away from Known Space. The Naeru, a simplistic, unchanging race, live in peace in the Polaris and Kuhan systems. The Kurath, a fledgling race, are barely spacefaring, and have few interactions with the Altairians and Centauri.

:: Polaris or Tayrah (Alpha Ursae Minoris) - Altairians, Centauri, Naeru
:: Kuhan (Gamma Ursae Minoris) - Naeru, scattered Kurath colonies
:: Kochab (Beta Ursae Minoris) - Scattered Kurath colonies
:: Zal (Zeta Ursae Minoris) - Kurath
